Axcess Staffing Services is seeking 2nd Shift – Warehouse Line Lead in the Lithia Springs, GA area.

Responsibilities:

• Use the Work Order as a guide to understand job requirements and specifications, assign individual tasks, and train and direct the temporary staff accordingly.
• Set-up or assist with line set-up as needed, using the line diagram.
• Responsible for inventory control, tracking and reconciliation of customer product, ensuring product is properly placed on the line and kept in good supply as needed for completion of the shift’s production and for the start of the next shift, if applicable.
• Oversee and monitor production flow on the line, trouble shoot problems, make equipment adjustments as needed, and recommend and institute line improvements.
• Communicate with the customer on daily operations, safety, and headcount as needed.
• Ensure that the finished product meets all specifications outlined in the Work Order.
• Ensure adherence to Company Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), and Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP’s).
• Understand and demonstrate safety behaviors and ensure all temporary staff are in compliance with all safety procedures, including maintaining the cleanliness of all equipment and work areas.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by a supervisor and/or customer.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be proficient in math (have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals).
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and manufacturing instructions, procedure manuals, and written directions. May also be required to write reports and correspondence and also speak effectively before groups or employees of the organization.

• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and must manage time effectively in order to adapt to quickly changing priorities.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to successfully motivate the temporary staff to ensure production line efficiency and meet production goals.
• Physical Strength- This job requires that you are physically able to hold, push, pull, lift and carry items.
• Attention to Detail- This job requires that you pay careful attention to your daily tasks at all times. Quality control is extremely important and it is a requirement that you assemble materials accurately in order to product quality product.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures.
